L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-31072026-275018 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3986] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026/SHRAVAN 5, 1948 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th July, 2026 S.O. 4156(E). - Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 5727(E) dated the 09th December, 2025, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India part-II, section-3, sub-section (ii), dated the 10th December, 2025, the Central Government ga ve notice of its intention to acquire 530.71 hectares (approximately) or 1311.38 acres (approximately) land and rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas, the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting to the Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the lands measuring 530.71 Hectares (approximately) or 1311.38Acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as specified in the Schedule appended hereto, should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 530.71 hectares (approximately) or 1311.38 acres (approximately) with all rights in or over the said land as specified in the said Schedule are hereby acquired. The Plan bearing number HQS&DN26044 dated the10th April, 2026, of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Collector, District Latehar (Jharkhand) or in the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar 5th floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or in the office of the "Chief Executive Officer", NTPC Mining Limited, Ginni Plaza, Station road, P.O. - Chutia, Dist.-Ranchi- 834001, Jharkhand or NTPC Bhawan, Core 7, Scope Complex, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110003.
