The Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, directs that induction hobs rated for voltages not exceeding 250 Volts alternating current, 50 Hz for single phase, as provided under Indian Standards IS 19014, when manufactured or imported in India, shall display particulars on labels. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-29122025-268883 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5844] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2025/PAUSHA 8, 1947 MINISTRY OF POWER NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th December, 2025 S.O. 6044(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (d) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency hereby specifies the induction hob rated for voltages not exceeding 250 Volts alternating current, 50 Hz for single phase as provided under Indian Standards IS 19014 for induction hob and directs that every such equipment, or class of equipment, may be manufactured, or imported in India, shall display particulars on labels in the manner as specified through regulations by Bureau.
