L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-03092026-275976 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4669] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026/BHADRA 10, 1948 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 28th August, 2026 S.O. 4856(E). - Whereas M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited having its registered address at Plot No.152, Sector-44, Gurugram, Haryana, 122002, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme, “Transmission system for providing connectivity to M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited for its 400 MW Solar Power Project in Barmer, Rajasthan." And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/26/2026-POWER GRID(MoP) dated 30-01-2026 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme, “Transmission system for providing connectivity to M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited for its 400 MW Solar Power Project in Barmer, Rajasthan." M/s. ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers Maru Laher (in Hindi) dated 22.02.2026, Dainik Hindustan Border (in Hindi) dated 22.02.2026, Dainik Bhaskar (in Hindi) dated 22.02.2026 and Rajasthan Patrika (in Hindi) dated 21.02.2026, The Times of India (in English) dated 22.02.2026 and The Indian Express (in English) dated 22.02.2026 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 14.03.2026 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within two Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 17.07.2026 declaring that three representations were received within two months from the date of publication in the official Gazette of Government of India and the same have been answered by M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited and that no further observations/ representations were received. M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited had submitted an Undertaking dated 18.06.2026 stating that the route of the proposed overhead transmission line(s) is located outside the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Priority Area of Rajasthan, as referred to in the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019; the applicant has further undertaken to comply with all directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court as contained in the said judgment as well as with any subsequent directions issued by the competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, and has also stated that the transmission line alignment has been optimized, in such a way that they share maximum common stretch to the extent possible. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme "Transmission system for providing connectivity to M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited for its 400 MW Solar Power Project in Barmer, Rajasthan." The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: • ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. RE power project (switchyard located at Village Balewa, District Barmer, Rajasthan) – Barmer-I (ISTS) Pooling Station 220 kV S/c line on D/c towers. The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities, i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. M/s ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in its order dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019 and any other directions given by competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by Hon'ble Supreme Court.
