L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-29012024-251633 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 332] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, JANUARY 29, 2024/MAGHA 9, 1945 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th January, 2024 S.O. 353(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 489(E), dated the 30th April, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 1st May 2003, namely:- In the said Order, in paragraph I, (i) In serial number 17, for the words "Deputy Inspector General of Police, the words "Inspector General of Police" shall be substituted. (ii) In serial number 18, for the words "Deputy Inspector General of Police", the words “Inspector General of Police" shall be substituted. [F. No. Z-20018/1/1999-CPA] NARESH PAL GANGWAR, Addl. Secy.
