The Ministry of Civil Aviation issued Notification S.O. 4913(E) on October 28, 2025, in New Delhi. In pursuance of Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Languages (Use for the Official Purposes of the Union) Rules, 1976, the Central Government hereby notifies the Kushinagar International Airport, located at Ramkola Road, Kasia, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh-274402, as a subordinate office of the Airports Authority of India under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This notification is made because 80% of the staff at this airport have acquired the working knowledge of Hindi. The notification was signed by Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor & Addl.
