L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-27112024-258952 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4689] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2024/ AGRAHAYANA 6, 1946 7644 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th November, 2024 S.O. 5079(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 2246 (E) dated the 23rd May, 2023, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the coal bearing areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said act) and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) dated 23rd May, 2023, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 1193.19 acres (approximately) or 482.87 hectares (approximately) the land and the all rights in or over the such land described in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of Section '8' of the said act has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the central government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the land measuring 1193.19 acres (approximately) or 482.87 hectares and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said act, the central Government hereby declares that all Rights in or over land measuring 1193.19 acres (approximately) or 482.87 hectares as described in the Schedule annexed are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number REV/02/2024 dated the 27th August, 2024 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Dy.
