New Delhi, the 25th October, 2025
S.O. 4892(E).— In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of
1951), the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected to fill the seat in the Council
of States of one member, namely, Shri Mir Mohammad Fayaz, who retired on the 10th February, 2021 on
the expiration of his term of office, is published for general information:-

Election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the Union
territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in section 66 of the Representation of the People Act,
1951, read with clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 84 of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, I declare that:–

S.O. 4526 (E), dated 6th October, 2025 issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act,
