New Delhi, the 26th June, 2026
S.O. 3462(E).— In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the
following declaration containing the names of the candidates elected to fill the seats in the Council of States of four
members, who retired on 25th June, 2026, on the expiration of their term of office, is published for general information:-
DECLARATION
Election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Karnataka.
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951, read with sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, I declare that-

S.O. 3463(E).— Whereas elections have been held, in pursuance of notification number S.O. 2754 (E), dated
1st June, 2026 issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of
filling the seats of four members of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly
of the State of Karnataka which fell vacant on the retirement of four members on the expiration of their term of office
on 25th June, 2026;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the
names of the members elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Karnataka are hereby
notified for general information:
