L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-26042024-253873 EXTRAORDINARY PART III-Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 285] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2024/VAISAKHA 6, 1946 INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL New Delhi, the 25th April, 2024 WITHDRAWAL ORDER F.No. 18-11/15578-INC:— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:— Whereas, President Nursing College situated at Shayona Campus, Shayonacity, R C Technical Road, Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad, Distt. Ahmedabad 380061, Gujarat is recognized by State Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Nursing Council to conduct GNM and B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-11/15578-INC dated 27/06/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Commissioner (Health), & Ex-Officio Secretary (Public Health & Family Welfare) Block No. 05, 1st Floor Old Sachiwalay, Dr. Jivraj Bhavan, Sector No. 10, Gandhinagar – 382010, Gujarat was issued. Copy of the notice dated 27/06/2023 was also enclosed President Nursing College situated at Shayona Campus, Shayonacity, RC Technical Road, Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad, Distt. Ahmedabad 380061, Gujarat. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of President Nursing College. Even the institution President Nursing College has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 15/02/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run GNM and B.Sc(N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 22/09/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM and B.Sc(N) from President Nursing College situated at Shayona Campus, Shayonacity, R C Technical Road, Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad, Distt. Ahmedabad 380061, Gujarat shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Gujarat subject to orders of state government. Lt.
