S.O. 3402(E). - In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the
following declaration containing the name of the candidates elected to fill the seats in the Council of States of six
members, who retired on 24th July, 2025, on the expiration of their term of office, is published for general information:-

S.O. 3403(E).— Whereas election has been held, in pursuance of notification number S.O. 2446 (E), dated
the 2nd June, 2025 issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose
of filling the seats of six members of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly
of the State of Tamil Nadu which fell vacant on the retirement of six members on the expiration of their term of office
on 24th July, 2025.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the
name of the members elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu are hereby
notified for general information:-
