WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 10th March, 2025
F.No. 18-05/16148 -INC:— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—
Whereas, ANM School Tekari Gaya situated at ANM School Tekari Gaya Bihar, Gaya Distt. Gaya
824236 Bihar is recognized by State Government of Bihar and Bihar Nurses Registration Council to conduct ANM
Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-05/16148-INC (57132) dated 09/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section
14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Principal Secretary (H&FW) Department of Health,
Government of Bihar, Vikas Bhawan, New Secretariat, Bihar was issued. Copy of the notice dated 09/05/2024 was
also enclosed ANM School Tekari Gaya situated at - ANM School Tekari Gaya Bihar, Gaya Distt. Gaya 824236
Bihar In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as
respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of
ANM School Tekari Gaya. Even the institution ANM School Tekari Gaya has not responded to the notices issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 07/12/2023
would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and
teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 26/10/2024
any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM from ANM School Tekari Gaya situated at - ANM School
Tekari Gaya Bihar, Gaya Distt. Gaya 824236 Bihar shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Bihar.
