New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2024
S.O. 5533(E).— Whereas M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited having its registered address Survey
No. 1837 & 1834, at Moje: Jetalpur, ABS Towers, 2nd floor, Old Padra Road, Vadodara, Gujarat, India - 390007 has
applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under
“Installation of the dedicated overhead tr ansmission line included in the transmission System for providing
connectivity to M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited for its 300 MW Wind Power Plant at Kutch, Gujarat”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25 -17/30/2 024-PG dated
28.03.2024 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered
under “Installation of the dedicated overhead transmission line included in the transmission System for providing
connectivity to M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited for its 300 MW Wind Power Plant at Kutch, Gujarat”.
M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers
The Indian Express (in English) dated 11.04.2024, Chanch al (in Hindi) dated 11.04.2024, Gujarat Samachar (in
Gujarati) dated 11.04.2024, and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 18.05.2024 for the general public to make
observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication.
Subsequently, M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 01.10.2024 declaring that
no observation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of the
Government of India.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines an d posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so
established or maintained for laying of electric lines under “Installation of the dedicated overhead transmission line
included in the transmission System for provid ing connectivity to M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited for its
300 MW Wind Power Plant at Kutch, Gujarat”. The following overhead line is covered under this scheme:
1. INOX Green Energy Services Limited Wind Power Plant (generation switchyard located in V illage Samanda,
Tehsil Abadasa, District Bhuj (Kutch), Gujarat) - Bhuj -II (ISTS) PS 220 kV S/c line.
The transmission line covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between the
following villages, towns and cities of Gujarat:

Now, after careful consideration, Ministry of Power, Government of India, under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, confers all the po wers to M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited for laying above overhead line, which
telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to placing of telegraph lines and posts
for the purposes of a telegraph established or main tained, by Government or to be established or maintained subject to
following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned line, namely:
i. The approval is granted for 25 years.
ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorit ies i.e., local bodies, Railways,
National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line.
iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission,
O&M, open access, etc., framed under Elect ricity Act, 2003.
iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of
Central Government.
v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and
the rules made there under by the applicant.
vi. M/s INOX Green Energy Services Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to the Central
Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at
the time of Electrical Inspection.
vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the
Great Indian Bustard (GIB) potential zone (or priority zone), the applicant has to comply with the ord ers of the
Hon’ble Supreme Court in the petition No.838 of 2019 regarding Great Indian Bustard (GIB) case, and the directions
of the technical/expert committee constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in this regard.
