NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st November, 2025
S.O. 5347(E). In pursuance of the provisions of section 23B of the Mines and Minerals (Development and
Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby authorises the following officers of the
Government companies mentioned in the column (4) of the table below to exercise all or any of the powers specified
in that section in the areas indicated in column (3) of the said table, for the purposes specified in the said section in
respect of coal and lignite specified in Part A of the First Schedule to the Act, namely:
