L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3621] NEW DELHI , THURS DAY , AUGUST 24, 2023/ BHADRA 2, 1945 CG-DL-E-24082023-248303 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 1st August, 2023 S.O. 3781(E).—Whereas M/s ReNew Solar Power Private Limited with its registered address at 138, Ansal Chambers - II, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi -110066 and corporate office at Commercial Block -1, Zone 6, Golf Course Road, DLF City Phase -V, Gurugram - 122009, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme “Connectivity system for 300 MW Wind Gen eration Project of M/s Renew Solar Power Private Limited in Gadag, Karnataka” And whereas, CEA, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter CEA -PS-11-21/1/2021 -PSPA -I Divisio n 228 -229 dated 07.10.2021 had granted prior approval under section 68( 1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 to M/s ReNew Solar Power Private Limited for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme “Connectivity system for 300 MW Wind Generation Proj ect of M/s Renew Solar Power Private Limited in Gadag, Karnataka”. M/s ReNew Solar Power Private Limited has published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers dated 30.05.2022 (Kannada Prabha, Samyukta Karnataka,and The New Indian Express) and 0 2.06.2022 (Rajasthan Patrika) and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 16.07.2022 along with its corrigendum in Gazette of India dated 27.08.2022 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 60 days from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s ReNew Solar Power Priva te Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 21.06.2023 declaring that no objection, observation/representation was received within two months from the date of Publication in the official ga zette of Government of India. And now the applicant has requested t o confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme “Connectivity system for 300 MW Wind Generation Project of M/s Renew Solar Power Private Limited in Gadag, Karnataka”. The followi ng overhead line is covered under this transmission scheme: 1. Renew Solar Power Private Limited. Pooling Sub -station (Huyilagola Village, Gadag District, Karnataka) - 400/220 kV Gadag PS (ISTS sub -station) 220 kV Single Circuit Transmission Line The tra nsmission line covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between the following villages, towns and cities of Karnataka: Name of villages Tehsil District Huilgol, Huyilagola, Kiratageri, Gavarawad, Benakankoppa, Niralgi, Narayanpu r, Kot Umachigi, Hosahalli, Kadival Gadag Gadag Gujmagadi, Kuradigi, Kuradagi, Yerebeleri, Yarebelera, Kodi Kop, Abbigeri, Jakkali, Budhihal, Budihala, Totganti, Mallapur, Maranbasri, Nidagundi Kop, Kalkapur, Itgi, Itagi, Bevinkatti, Alagundi, Kur abanhal, Honniganur, Talihal, Chigalagundi, Rudrapur, Amaragatti, Lakkalakatti, Nagendragarh, Santageri, Nallur, Bommasagar, Pyati, Santeshwar Gudi, Nagaral Ron Naregal, Nidagundi, Sudi, Dyamhunshi, Gulaguli, Kallinganur, Mushigeri Gajendragad Kuchlapur Shirahatti Anantagiri, Nasgunni Badami Bagalkote Malgatti, Patlachinti, Rangapur, Kodatgeri Kushtagi Koppal Sankanur, Siragumpi, Katrala Yelburga Now, after careful consideration, Ministry of Power, Government of India, under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, confers all the powers to M/s Renew Solar Power Private Limited for laying above overhead line, which telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respec t to placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purposes of a telegraph established or maintained, by Government or to be established or maintained subject to following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned line, namely: i. The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulation s/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of the Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Cen tral Gove rnment. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s Renew Solar Power Private Limited shall have to submit the r equisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection.
