Appointments of Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors of the officers of National Capital Region Transport Corporation

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-23112024-258854 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4655] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2024/AGRAHAYANA 1, 1946 MINISTRY OF POWER NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st November, 2024 S.O. 5044(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 162 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) read with Qualifications, Powers and Functions of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors Rules, 2006 (hereinafter called the said Rules) notified on 17.8.2006 and as amended on 16.05.2016, the Central Government hereby appoints the following officers of National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) as Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors for NCRTC from the date of this Notification till their tenure in NCRTC ends or until further orders, whichever is earlier, subject to fulfillment of the qualifications and conditions mentioned in the said Rules:- +-----+-----------------------+---------------------+------------------------+--------------------------+ |S.No.|Name (Shri) |Designation |Qualification |Appointed as | +=====+=======================+=====================+========================+==========================+ |1 |Shri Devinder |(SAG), |B.Tech |Chief Electrical Inspector| | |Singh Parmar |GGM/Traction | | | +-----+-----------------------+---------------------+------------------------+--------------------------+ |2 |Shri Om Shankar |(SG),GM/OHE |Electrical |Electrical Inspector | | |Prasad | |Engineering | | +-----+-----------------------+---------------------+------------------------+--------------------------+ |3 |Shri Dharmendra |(E4),DGM/Elect. |B.Tech Electrical |Electrical Inspector | | |Meena | | | | +-----+-----------------------+---------------------+------------------------+--------------------------+ The above mentioned officers shall exercise the powers and perform their functions in respect of electrical works, electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the areas occupied by NCRTC in respect of works and electrical installations under the control of NCRTC/belonging to NCRTC as per the procedure provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time. It shall be ensured that the above said officers shall not function as Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors in respect of any electrical work or installation, the execution or maintenance of which is their responsibility. The officers appointed as Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors shall undergo such training as the Central Government may consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
