Appointments of officers of Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) as Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors for Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS)

(Elect.) | Electrical Inspector | | | | Safety (Elect.) | | | +-----+----------------------------+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------+-------------------------+ The above mentioned officers shall exercise the powers and perform their functions in respect of electrical works, electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the areas occupied by the DGMS or in respect of work and electrical installations under the control of DGMS/belonging to DGMS and shall also exercise the powers and perform function as Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors in relation to mines, within the limits of their respective jurisdiction as per the procedure provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time. DGMS will ensure that the above said officers shall not function as Chief Electrical Inspector/ Electrical Inspectors in respect of the workd assigned to them as Dy. Director General of Minies safety (Elect.) Dy. Director of Minies Safety (Elect.) in DGMS. The officers appointed as Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors shall undergo such training as the Central Government may consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
