NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2025
S.O. 3368(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number
S.O. 4198(E) dated the 25th September 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 25th September 2024, the Central
Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 557.49 hectares (approximately) or 1377.57 acres (approximately)
land and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the
Central Government;
And whereas the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the
Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the lands measuring 557.49 hectares (approximately) or 1377.57 acres
(approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in Schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that the land measuring 557.49 hectares (approximately) or 1377.57 acres (approximately)
and all rights in or over such land as described in Schedule are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing number NMDC/CD/TOKISUD/CBA SEC(9)/24/06 dated the 28th November, 2024 of the
area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Deputy Commissioner,, Hazaribagh 825301,
Jharkhand or in the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th
Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092, or in the office of the NMDC Limited, Coal Division, 2nd Floor, JSFC
Bhawan, Kadru, Ranchi 834002, Jharkhand or in the office of the NMDC Limited, 10-3-311/A, Castle Hills, Masab
Tank, Hyderabad 500028.
