Director General 3543 GI/2026 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th May, 2026 G.S.R. 370(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3E read with section 7 of the Coal Mines Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1948 (46 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following scheme further to amend the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998, namely:- 1. (1) This scheme may be called the Coal Mines Pension (Amendment) Scheme, 2026. (2) It shall come into force with effect from the 8th March, 2024. 2. In the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998, in paragraph 12, after sub-para (4), the following sub-paragraph shall be inserted, namely:- "(5) The revised pension amount for pensioners under Coal Mines Family Pension Scheme, 1971 shall be one thousand Rupee per month".
