NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd April, 2025
S.O. 1828(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number
S.O. 1767(E) dated the 22nd April, 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the coal bearing areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said act) and published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) dated the 22nd April, 2024, the Central Government
gave notice of its intention to acquire the All Rights in and over the land measuring 125.03 acres (approximately) or
50.59 hectares (approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of Section ‘8’ of the said act has made his report to the
Central Government;
And whereas the central government, after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the
government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the All Rights in and over land measuring 125.03 acres (approximately) or
50.59 hectares (approximately), described in the schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said act, the central
Government hereby declares that All Rights in and over land measuring 125.03 acres (approximately) or 50.59
hectares (approximately), described in the schedule annexed hereto are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing number REV/01/2025 dated the 10th January, 2025 of the area covered by this notification
may be inspected in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Ramgarh (Jharkhand) or at the office of coal
controller, Coal Controller's Organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi
110092 or in the office of the General Manager, Kuju Area, District Ramgarh (Jharkhand) or General Manager, Land
& Revenue, CCL, Darbhanga House, Ranchi 834001, Jharkhand or General Manager (Exploration Division), Central
Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi 834031, Jharkhand.
