Core Purpose

Indian Nursing Council restricts Sanjeevani College of Nursing graduates' registration to Madhya Pradesh due to denied inspection.

Detailed Summary

The Indian Nursing Council issued a withdrawal order regarding Sanjeevani College of Nursing, Madhya Pradesh, initially recognized for GNM, B.Sc(N), and PB B.Sc(N) courses. Inspectors from the Council were denied statutory inspection at the college, prompting notices for explanation to the college and comments from the Madhya Pradesh government, neither of which received a response. The Council's Executive Committee concluded that refusing inspection implies non-compliance. Consequently, from October 26, 2024, qualifications from Sanjeevani College of Nursing will only permit registration within Madhya Pradesh, owing to the college's denial of statutory inspection by the Indian Nursing Council.
