INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL
WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 10th March, 2025
F. No. 18-18/14875-INC.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—
Whereas, Shivani Paramedical Institute situated at By Pass Road Shahdol, Shahdol, Distt.- Shahdol, Pin Code- 484001
Madhya Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration
Council to conduct B.Sc(N) Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-18/14875-INC (56515) dated 03/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section
14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the principal secretary (Health & FW), Government of Madhya
Pradesh Room No. 241, Mantralaya (VallabhBhawan) Area Hills, Bhopal – 462004, Madhya Pradesh was issued. Copy
of the notice dated 03/05/2024 was also enclosed to Shivani Paramedical Institute situated at By Pass Road Shahdol,
Shahdol, Distt.- Shahdol, Pin Code-484001 Madhya Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested
to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of
Shivani Paramedical Institute. Even the institution, Shivani Paramedical Institute has not responded to the notices issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 01/12/2023
would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and
teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run B.Sc(N) Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 26/10/2024
any person holding a recognized qualification of B.Sc(N) from Shivani Paramedical Institute situated at By Pass Road
Shahdol, Shahdol, Distt.- Shahdol, Pin Code-484001 Madhya Pradesh shall be entitled to be registered only in the State
of Madhya Pradesh.
