WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 10th March, 2025
F. No. 18-36/9318-INC.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues thefollowing order:—
Whereas, Vananchal Nursing Training School situated at Bhatia Colony, Adityapur, Jamshedpur,
Distt. East Singhbhum 831013, Jharkhand is recognized by State Government of Jharkhand and Jharkhand Nurses
& Registration Council to conduct ANM Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-36/9318-INC (57662) dated 09/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under
section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, Nepal House, Doranda, Ranchi – 834002, Jharkhand was issued. Copy of the
notice dated 09/05/2024 was also enclosed to Vananchal Nursing Training School situated at Bhatia Colony,
Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Distt. East Singhbhum 831013, Jharkhand. In the notice issued, the State Government
was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case
of Vananchal Nursing Training School Even the institution Vananchal Nursing Training School has not
responded to the notices issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated
26/12/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e.,
clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies whichconstitute the institution is unable to run ANM
Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from
26/10/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM from Vananchal Nursing Training School
situated at Bhatia Colony, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Distt. East Singhbhum 831013, Jharkhand shall be entitled to
be registered only in the State of Jharkhand.
