No. 18-14/15921–INC.β€”In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:β€” Whereas, Royal Institute of Paramedical Sciences situated at Darind Nagabal Ganderbal, Ganderbal, Distt. Ganderbal 191201 Jammu & Kashmir is recognized by State Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Jammu & Kashmir State Paramedical & Nursing Council to conduct GNM and B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-14/15921-INC (56357) dated 09/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the secretary (Health & Medical Education), Government of Jammu & Kashmir Room No. 108, Civil Secretariat Srinagar – 180001 was issued. Copy of the notice dated 09/05/2024 was also enclosed to Royal Institute of Paramedical Sciences situated at Darind Nagabal Ganderbal, Ganderbal, Distt. Ganderbal 191201 Jammu & Kashmir In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Royal Institute of Paramedical Sciences. Even the institution, Royal Institute of Paramedical Sciences has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 10/11/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run GNM and B.Sc. (N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 26/10/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM and B.Sc(N) from Royal Institute of Paramedical Sciences situated at Darind Nagabal Ganderbal, Ganderbal, Distt.
