7265 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY 1 2 3 No. 4786] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , NOVEMBER 21, 2023/ KARTIKA 30, 1945 CG-DL-E-21112023-250189 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st Novemb er, 2023 S.O. 4 995(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 11 of the Environment (Protecti on) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii), v ide notification number S.O. 84 (E), dated the 16th February, 1987, namely: - In the said notification, - (i) in paragraph 1, for the words and figures, “section 11”, the words, figures and brackets, “section 11 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986)” shall be substituted; (ii) in the Table, for serial number 64 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely: - 1 2 3 “64 Joint Secretary and Scientists (Grade „B' to Grade 'G‟) working in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi, including its Regional Offices and its Sub -offices.”.
