MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th July, 2025
S.O. 3266(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 read with sub- section (6) of section 5 of
the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (6 of 1974), the Central Government here by makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change published in the gazette of India, Extraordinary, part-II, section 3, sub-section (ii) vide number S.O.
5799(E), dated the 19th November, 2018, namely:—
In the said notification,
(i) for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be
substituted, namely:-
"1. Shri Vir Vikram Yadav, Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board, - Chairman;";
(ii) for serial number 17 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be
substituted, namely:
"17. Shri Bharat Kumar Sharma, Member-Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board,- Member-
Secretary".
