RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 15th April, 2025
No. 11015/03/2024-Hindi: In supersession of Ministry of Power's Resolution
No. 11015/3/2019-Hindi dated 20th October, 2021 Government of India hereby constitute the Hindi
Advisory Committee (HAC) of Ministry of Power. The Composition of the Committee and its functions
will be as under: -

B. Functions
The functions of the Committee will be to advise the Ministry of Power in matters relating to the
progressive use of Hindi for Official work and allied issues falling within the frame-work of the Official
Language policy laid down by the Government of India.
C. Tenure
The tenure of the Committee will be three years from the date of its composition, provided that:-
1. A Member of Parliament nominated to the Committee shall cease to be a member of the Committee
as soon as he/she ceases to be a Member of Parliament.
2. Official members of the Committee shall continue as members as long as they hold office by virtue
of which they are the members of the Committee.
3. Any mid-term vacancy shall be filled up by the concerned member's successor in office, who shall
be a member of the Committee for the remaining term of three years.
D. General
The Headquarter of the Committee shall be at New Delhi but it may hold its meeting at any other
station also.
Ε. Travelling and Other Allowances
The Non-Official Members will be paid travelling and daily allowance for attending the meeting of
the Committee as per the guidelines contained in the Office Memorandum No. 11/20034/4/86-OL(A-2)
dated 22nd January, 1987 of Department of Official Language and in accordance with the prescribed rates
and rules amended from time to time by the Government of India.
ORDER
Ordered that a copy of this resolution be communicated to all the members of the Committee,
President's Secretariat, Vice- President's Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office, Cabinet Secretariat,
Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, NITI Aayog, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs,
Comptroller and Auditor General of India, all Ministries and Departments of Government of India and all
State Government and Union Territory Administrations.
Ordered also that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
