NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th December, 2025
S.O. 5898(E).—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that Coal is likely to be obtained from the land
in the locality specified in the Schedule annexed hereto;
And whereas, the plan bearing number NCL/HQ/Land&Revenue/2025/97, dated the 23rd May, 2025 containing
details of the area of land covered by this notification and specified in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office
of the General Manager (Land and Revenue), Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli 486889, Madhya Pradesh or at the
office of the General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana
Place, Kanke Road, Ranchi 834008, Jharkhand or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation,
Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core 2, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or at the office of the District Collector,
Singrauli 486889, Madhya Pradesh;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government
hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from the land specified in the said Schedule.
Any person interested in the land specified in the said Schedule may –
i. claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action
taken under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act; or
ii. claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting licenses
ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mining lease ceasing to have
effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the aforesaid land to show the expenditure
incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act,
to the office of the General Manager (Land and Revenue or Rehabilitation and Resettlement), Northern Coalfields
Limited, Singrauli486889, Madhya Pradesh within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this
notification in the official Gazette.

B-C: The line starts at point 'B' and passes through plot numbers 122 and 123 of Medhauli village and same line
passes along side and touch the boundary of previously acquired land (S. O. Number 3065, dated 20.10.2011) of Jayant
Expansion, and meets at point 'C' in the Singrauli division range Waidhan and Gorbi forest compartment number
RF - 273.
C-D: The line starts at point 'C' and passes through plot number 123 of Medhauli village and same line passes along
side and touch the boundary of previously acquired land (S. O. Number 3065, dated 20.10.2011) of Nigahi Expansion,
