No. P-L-17001(01)/3/2023-P-L.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 6 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 (19 of 2010) read with clause (i) of section 5 of the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021 (33 of 2021), the Central Government has appointed Hon'ble Justice Prakash Shrivastava, former Chief Justice, Calcutta High Court as the Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or till he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
