L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3952] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , SEPTEMBER 19, 2023/ BHADRA 28, 1945 CG-DL-E-20092023-248845 िोड़ : 142.78 2.13 0.00 16.83 161.7 4 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th September, 2023 S.O. 4119(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Centra l Government that c oal is likely to be obtained from the land in the locality described in the Schedule annexed hereto; And w hereas, the plan bearing number C-I(E)/ III/FUR/0723/1000 , dated the 7th July, 2023 , containing details of the area of land describ ed in the said Schedule may be inspected at the of fice of the Western Coalfields L imited (Revenue Department), Coal Estate, Civil Lines, Nagpur – 440 001 (Maharashtra) , or at the office of the Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited , Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi – 834 001 , Jharkhand , or at the office of the Coal Con troller, Coal Controller's Organi sation, Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core -2, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi -1100 92, or at the office of the District Collector, District Nagpur (Maharashtra) ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers c onferred by sub -section (1) of s ection 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition an d Deve lopment) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from land described in the said Schedule ; Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may - (i) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action taken under sub -section (3) of section 4 thereof ; or (ii) claim compensation under sub -section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting license ceasing to have effect or under sub -section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mining lease ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the said land to show the expenditure incur red in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub -section (1) of section 13 of the s aid Act, to the Office of the Area General Manager, Western Coalfields Limited, Umrer Area, Post - Waigaon Ghoturli , Tahsil - Umrer , District Nagpur (Maharashtr a), or General Manager (Land and Revenue), Western Coalfields Limited, Land and Revenue Department, Coal Estate, Civil Lines, District Nagpur – 440 001 (Maharashtra) within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification in the Of ficial Gazette.
