L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-19062026-273623 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3062] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026/JYAISTHA 27, 1948 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 16th June, 2026 S.O. 3184(E).—Whereas M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited having its registered address at DSM- 648, 6th Floor, DLF Towers Shivaji Marg, Najafgarh Road, Moti Nagar, Delhi(West), New Delhi-110015, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme, “Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) for its 400 MW wind project located in Raichur district, Karnataka and 300 MW wind project located in Koppal District, Karnataka". And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/02/2025-PG dated 07.01.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme, “Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) for its 400 MW wind project located in Raichur district, Karnataka and 300 MW wind project located in Koppal District, Karnataka”. M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers DECCAN HERALD (in English) dated 16.02.2025, Rajasthan Patrika (in Hindi) dated 16.02.2025, Prajavani (in Kannada) dated 16.02.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 24.05.2025 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 03.06.2026 declaring that no observation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of Government of India and within 2 months from the date of newspaper publications. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme, "Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) for its 400 MW wind project located in Raichur district, Karnataka and 300 MW wind project located in Koppal District, Karnataka". The following overhead lines are covered under this scheme: • 400 MW Generation Pooling Station of M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) (Generation Switchyard located at Gudihala Village, Maski Taluk, Raichur district, Karnataka) - 300 MW Generation Pooling Station of M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) (Generation Switchyard located at Lingadhalli Village, Kushtagi Taluk, Koppal District, Karnataka) 220 kV D/c line on D/c tower • 300 MW Generation Pooling Station of M/s Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited (Formally known as M/s JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd.) (Generation Switchyard located at Lingadhalli Village, Kushtagi Taluk, Koppal District, Karnataka) – Koppal-II PS (ISTS S/s) 220 kV D/c line on D/c and M/c towers. The transmission lines covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between the following villages, towns and cities: BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:— **1. Short title and commencement.**—(1) This Act may be called the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Act, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. **2. Amendment of section 2.**—In the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 (6 of 2007) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2,— (i) for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:— '(a) "child" means a female who has not completed twenty-one years of age;'; (ii) after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:— '(ca) "minor" means a female who has not completed eighteen years of age;'. **3. Amendment of section 3.**—In section 3 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **4. Amendment of section 4.**—In section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **5. Amendment of section 9.**—In section 9 of the principal Act,— (i) for the words "eighteen years of age", the words "twenty-one years of age" shall be substituted; (ii) for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **6. Amendment of section 10.**—In section 10 of the principal Act, for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **7. Amendment of section 11.**—In section 11 of the principal Act,— (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-section (2), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **8. Amendment of section 12.**—In section 12 of the principal Act,— (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-section (2), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **9. Amendment of section 13.**—In section 13 of the principal Act,— (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-section (2), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **10. Amendment of section 14.**—In section 14 of the principal Act,— (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-section (2), for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **11. Amendment of section 15.**—In section 15 of the principal Act, for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **12. Amendment of section 18.**—In section 18 of the principal Act, for the words "child marriage", the words "minor marriage" shall be substituted. **14.
