NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th June, 2025
G.S.R. 401(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change,
Zoological Survey of India, Junior Translator, Group 'B', Recruitment Rules, 2018, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change, Zoological Survey of India, Junior Translator, Group 'B', Recruitment (Amendment)
Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Zoological Survey of India,
Junior Translator, Group 'B', Recruitment Rules, 2018, under column (7), after the portion beginning with
the figure, brackets and words "(II) (a) Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English
and vice versa from a recognized Institute or Organisation;" the following word shall be inserted, namely:-
"Or".
