NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th September, 2023
G.S.R. 675(E) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passports Act, 1967 (15 of
1967), the Central Government hereby mak es the following rules further to amend the Passport Rules, 1980, namely: -
1. These rules ma y be called the Passport (Amendment) Rules, 2023. They shall come into force on the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In SCHEDULE I to the Pass port Rules, 1980, -
(a) against Sl. No. 16, in column (3), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely: -

“The districts of Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu,
Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Dausa, Jaipur, Sikar,
Nagaur, Bikaner, Jodhpur Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Pali, Ajmer,
Tonk in the State of Rajasthan”;
(b) after Sl. No. 19 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely: -

19 A. Passport Office, Kota “The dist ricts of Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Kota, Baran,
Jhalwar, Bhilwara, Chhitorgarh, Rajasamand, Udaipur,
Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh in the State of
Rajasthan.”

(b) Deputy Passport Officer
(c) Assistant Passport Officer
(d) Se nior Superintendent
(e) Superintendent
