Amendment in MoPs notification S.O. 2528(E) for Room Air Conditioners

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Power, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 2528(E), dated the 8th August, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, in paragraph 3,- (a) in sub-paragraph (1), in Table 3.1(f) and Table 3.2(f), for the words, figures and letters "1st July, 2022 to 31st December, 2024", the words, figures and letters “From 1st July, 2022 to 31st December, 2025" shall be substituted. (b) in sub - paragraph (1),- (i) in Table 3.1, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:- " 7. From 1st January, 2026 to 31st December, 2028 (g) " (ii) in Table 3.2, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:- " 7.
