L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-18062024-254787 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2239] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024/JYAISHTHA 28, 1946 MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS ORDER New Delhi, the 18th June, 2024 S.O. 2358(E).—Whereas, the Security Council Committee of the United Nations pursuant to resolutions 1267(1999), 1989(2011) and 2253(2015) concerning ISIL (Da'esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities enacted amendments on its ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of the Security Council resolution 2610(2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations; And whereas the Central Government considers it necessary and expedient to revise the Schedule to the order issued under the United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1947 (43 of 1947) to give effect to the said amendments; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1947 (43 of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) Order, 2007, namely: – 1. (1) This Order may be called the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) third Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) Order, 2007, in the Schedule, in Annexure 1,- under the heading “A.
