The Ministry of Power, Government of India, vide Order S.O. 2543(E) dated 15th May, 2026, has conferred powers upon M/s Furies Solren Private Limited, Mumbai – 400 018, under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003. These powers are equivalent to those of the telegraph authority under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, and are granted for the laying of an overhead transmission line for their 300MW Solar Power Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan. The transmission scheme is titled "Transmission system for providing Connectivity to M/s Furies Solren Private Limited for its 300MW Solar Power Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan." Previously, the Ministry of Power had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003, vide letter No. 25-17/64/2025-PG dated 07.07.2025. Public notices were issued in The Indian Express (English) dated 22.09.2025 and Weekly Gazette of India dated 25.10.2025; one observation from M/s Sunsure Solar Park RJ One Private Limited on 3rd November 2025 was received and subsequently withdrawn on 25.02.2026. M/s Furies Solren Private Limited provided an undertaking dated 24.03.2026 confirming the proposed line route is outside the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Priority Area of Rajasthan and Gujarat, in compliance with the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India's judgment dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019. The specific line covered is the Furies Solren Pvt. Ltd. solar power project (generation switchyard in village Chhatargarh, District Bikaner, Rajasthan) - Bikaner-IV (ISTS) Pooling Station 220 kV S/c line on D/c towers, passing through villages in Chattargarh Tehsil/Taluka, Bikaner District, Rajasthan. The approval is granted for 25 years, subject to conditions including obtaining consent from concerned authorities, compliance with regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission, approval from the Electrical Inspector/Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government, compliance with the Electricity Act, 2003 provisions, submission of clearances to Central Electricity Authority, and adherence to Supreme Court directions regarding GIB areas if applicable.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-18052026-272662 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2451] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 18,2026/VAISAKHA 28,1948 3540 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 15th May, 2026 S.O. 2543(E).— Whereas M/s Furies Solren Private Limited having its registered address at Mahindra Towers, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Worli, Mumbai – 400 018, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme "Transmission system for providing Connectivity to M/s Furies Solren Private Limited for its 300MW Solar Power Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan." And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/64/2025-PG dated 07.07.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme "Transmission system for providing Connectivity to M/s Furies Solren Private Limited for its 300MW Solar Power Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan." M/s Furies Solren Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers Dainik Nava Jyoti (in Hindi) dated 22.09.2025, The Indian Express (in English) dated 22.09.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 25.10.2025 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Furies Solren Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 23.03.2026 declaring that one observation/ representation from M/s Sunsure Solar Park RJ One Private Limited on 3rd November 2025 was received within two months from the date of Publication in the Newspaper/official Gazette of Government of India, which was later withdrawn after amicable resolution vide its official mail dated 25.02.2026. M/s Furies Solren Private Limited has submitted an Undertaking dated 24.03.2026 stating that the route of the proposed overhead transmission line(s) is located outside the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Priority Area of Rajasthan and Gujarat, as referred to in the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019; the firm has further undertaken to comply with all directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court as contained in the said judgment as well as with any subsequent directions issued by the competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, and has also stated that the transmission line alignment has been optimized, in such a way that they share maximum common stretch to the extent possible. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme "Transmission system for providing Connectivity to M/s Furies Solren Private Limited for its 300MW Solar Power Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan." The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: i. Furies Solren Pvt. The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities, i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s Furies Solren Private Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in its order dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019 and any other directions given by competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by Hon'ble Supreme Court.
