S.O. 4766(E). — In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the
following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected to fill the seat in the Council of States from the State
of Punjab that fell vacant on 1st July, 2025 by reason of resignation of Shri Sanjeev Arora, before the expiration of his
term of office which was up to and including 9th April, 2028, is published for general information:-

Bye-Election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of
Punjab.
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951, read with sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, I declare that -
