L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-17092025-266202 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4044] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2025/BHADRA 24, 1947 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 12th September, 2025 S.O. 4159(E).—Whereas M/s Anantapur II REZ Transmission Limited has its registered address at YC Co Working Space, 3rd Floor, Plot No.94, Dwarka Sec.13, Opp. Metro, Near Raddison Blu, South West Delhi, New Delhi- 110075 has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under "Transmission System for Integration of Anantapur-II REZ-Phase-I (for 4.5 GW)". And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/24/2025-PG dated 21.02.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under "Transmission System for Integration of Anantapur-II REZ-Phase-I (for 4.5 GW)". M/s Anantapur II REZ Transmission Limited has published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers the New Indian Express (English), Dakshin Bharat Rashtramat (Hindi), Akash Jyoti (Hindi), Samyuktha Karnataka (Kannada), Andhra Jyothy (Telugu) on 10.04.2025 and Dakshin Bharat Rashtramat (Hindi) & Akash Jyoti (Hindi) on 15.04.2025 (Corrigendum) and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 19.04.2025 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Anantapur II REZ Transmission Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 19.06.2025 declaring that no observation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of Government of India, however they have received two representations from the party from the date of publication in the Newspaper and same were suitably replied and closed. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under "Transmission System for Integration of Anantapur-II REZ-Phase-I (for 4.5 GW)".
