The Indian Nursing Council, vide notification F.No. 18-18/14931-INC dated 22nd July, 2024, issued under Section 14 of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), recites that Saloni College, situated at Village & Post - Baraua, District Gwalior 474010, Madhya Pradesh, was recognized by the State Government and the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council to conduct the GNM Course, that a withdrawal notice dated 28/09/2022 was issued to the Principal Secretary (Health & FW), Government of Madhya Pradesh and to the College, that no recommendations were received from the State Government or a response from the institution, and that an inspection report dated 17/02/2022 found serious deficiencies in clinical and teaching facilities rendering the institution unable to run the GNM Course; exercising powers under section 14(3)(b), the Council declares that, with effect from 23/02/2023, any person holding a recognized GNM qualification from Saloni College shall be entitled to registration only in the State of Madhya Pradesh, subject to orders of the Madhya Pradesh state government; signed by Lt. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-17082024-256460 EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 626] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2024/SHRAVANA 23, 1946 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III-SEC.4] INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2024 WITHDRAWAL ORDER F.No. 18-18/14931-INC:— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:— Whereas, Saloni College situated at Village & Post - Baraua, Distt. Gwalior 474010, Madhya Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council to conduct GNM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-18/14931-INC dated 28/09/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the principal secretary (Health & FW), Government of Madhya Pradesh Room No. 241, Mantralaya (Vallabh Bhawan) Area Hills, Bhopal – 462004, Madhya Pradesh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 28/09/2022 was also enclosed to Saloni College situated at Village & Post - Baraua, Distt. Gwalior 474010, Madhya Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Saloni College. Even the institution, Saloni College has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 17/02/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run GNM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM Course from Saloni College situated at Village & Post - Baraua, Distt. Gwalior 474010, Madhya Pradesh, shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Madhya Pradesh subject to orders of state government of Madhya Pradesh. Lt.
