The accompanying Schedule allocates the sums by department: Power Development Department (Revenue) Rs. 2775,22,97,000; Finance Department (Revenue) Rs. 585,19,11,000 and (Capital) Rs. 5344,92,30,000; Hospitality and Protocol Department (Capital) Rs. 3,50,00,000; and Cooperative Department (Revenue) Rs. 4,05,34,000, totalling Rs. 3367,97,42,000 voted by Parliament and Rs. 5344,92,30,000 charged on the Consolidated Fund. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-fifth Year of the Republic of India, in exercise of powers vested under the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Act, 2024. Short title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of eight thousand seven hundred twelve crore, eighty-nine lakh and seventy-two thousand rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2023-24 in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. Issue of Rs. 8712,89,72,000 (Supplementary Grants) out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the financial year 2023- 24. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.
