O. 582(E), dated the 9th February, 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 9th February, 2024, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 161.74 hectares (approximately) or 399.659 acres (approximately) land and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification ; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting to the Government of Maharashtra, is satisfied that the land measuring 120.77 hectares (approximately) or 298.42 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the said Schedule appended hereto, should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that all rights in or over the land measuring 120.77 hectares (approximately) or 298.42 acres (approximately) as described in the Schedule are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number C-I(E)/III/FUR/0624/1016, dated the 3rd June, 2024 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Collector, District Nagpur, or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core-2, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092 or in the office of the Head of Department or General Manager (Mining), Land and Revenue Department, Western Coalfields Limited, Coal Estate, Civil Lines, Nagpur-440001, Maharashtra.
