L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-15062026-273468 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2881] | NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, 2026/JYAISTHA 20, 1948 4195 GI/2026 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY MINISTRY OF POWER NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 10th June, 2026 [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] S.O. 2978(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby repeals the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Power, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide notification number S.O. 1034 (E), dated the 9th March, 2018, relating to the Standards and Labelling Program for Tubular Fluorescent Lamps, with effect from the 1st July, 2026. The repeal of the said notification shall not affect anything done or omitted to be done before the commencement of this notification, and such actions shall be deemed to have been done or omitted under the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001.
