Notification regarding appointments in Central Empowered Committee

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-13052026-272511 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2368] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026/VAISAKHA 23, 1948 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th May, 2026 S.O. 2460(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), and in partial modification of the Notification No. S.O. 5238(E) dated the 8th December, 2023 the Central Government hereby makes the following appointments to the Central Empowered Committee with immediate effect for a period of three years or till they attain the age of Sixty Six years or till any other order of the Central Government whichever is earlier: 1. Shri Chandra Prakash Goyal, Chairman on completion of tenure of Shri Siddhant Das 2. Shri Anjan Kumar Mohanty, Member 3. Dr. S. C. Garkoti, Member on completion of tenure of Dr. J. R. Bhatt 2. The remaining composition, terms and conditions of the Committee shall remain unchanged as specified in the aforesaid notification dated the 8th December, 2023 and Order No. F.
