(1) These rules may be called the Electricity (Third Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Electricity Rules, 2005, in rule 19, in sub-rule (1), for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - “(a) the Central Government may, by order form distinct central pools for different categories of Renewable Energy Sources for a period of three years from the date provided in such order.
