7706 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5083] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , DECEMBER 12, 2023/ AGRAHAYANA 21, 1945 CG-DL-E-12122023-250601 कु ल : 1245.00 3076.46 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFIC ATION New Delhi, the 12 th December, 2023 S.O. 5312 (E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that coal is likely to be obtained from the land in the locality described in the Schedule annexed hereto; And whereas, the plan bearing number NMDC/Coal /Rohne/CBA/ 4(1)/2, dated the 25th August, 2023 containing details of the area of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the NMDC Ltd. , 10-3-311/A, Castle hills , Masab Tank , Hyderabad -500028 or at the office of the NMDC Ltd. , Coal Division , 2nd floor ,JSFC Bhawan, Kadru, Ranchi -834002, Jharkhand or at the Office of Deputy Commissioner, District Hazaribagh, Jharkhand or at the office of the Chief General Manager (Ex ploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Place, Kanke Road, Ranchi (Jharkhand) or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller’s Organisation, Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core -II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi -110 092 ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from the land described in the said Schedule. Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may – (i) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any actio n taken under sub -section (3) of section 4 thereof; or (ii) claim compensation under sub -section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting licenses ceasing to have effect or under sub -section (4) of section 13 of the Act for mining lease ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the land to show the expenditure incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub -section (1) of section 13 of the said Act, to the office of the Executive Director (Coal), NMDC Limited, Coal Division , 2nd Floor, JSFC Bhavan, Kadru, Ranchi -834002, Jharkhand within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification.
