L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-12092025-266108 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2025/BHADRA 20, 1947 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 10th September,2025 S.O. 4140(E).— Whereas M/s Powergrid Sikar Khetri Transmission Limited, the applicant with its registered office at B-9, Qutab Institutional Area, Katwaria Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, South Delhi, Delhi, India -110016 has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line included in the transmission scheme for evacuation of power from Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase-III- Part D, Phase-I. And whereas, Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its File No. 25-17/53/2023-PG dated 22.12.2023 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line included in the transmission scheme for evacuation of power from Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase-III- Part D, Phase-I. M/s Powergrid Sikar Khetri Transmission Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers The Times of India (in English) dated 12.06.2024 along with corrigendum dated 24.04.2025, The Tribune (in English) dated 23.04.2025 along with corrigendum dated 24.04.2025, Rajasthan Patrika and Amar Ujala (both in Hindi) dated 12.06.2024 along with corrigendum dated 24.04.2025, and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 20.07.2024 along with corrigendum dated 14.06.2025 for the general public to make observations/ representations on the proposed transmission route within two months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Powergrid Sikar Khetri Transmission Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 19.08.2025 declaring that one observation/ representation was received within two months from the date of Publication in the official Gazette of Government of India and Newspapers and the same have been answered by M/s Powergrid Sikar Khetri Transmission Limited and that no further representations were received. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of overhead transmission line for M/s Powergrid Sikar Khetri Transmission Limited.
