G.S.R. 567(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 146 of the Constitution, the
Chief Justice of India hereby makes the following amendments to the Supreme Court Officers and Servants
(Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1961: -
I. The following be substituted in “Column No. 4 - Method of Recruitment” and “ Column No.5 –Experience, if
any, prescribed for the post”, in respect of the post of Additional Registrar - Category No. 4: -
Method of Recruitment

By promotion of
Deputy Registrar (Shorthand) or Deputy Registrar (Non -

Minimum 3 years experience in the feeder cadre of
Deputy Registrar (Shorthand) or Deputy Registrar (Non -

II. The following be substituted in “Column No. 2 – Designation of the Post”, “Column No. 4 - Method of
Recruitment” and “Column No.5 –Experience, if any, prescribed for the post.”, in respect of the post of
Deputy Registrar - Category No. 9: -
