S.O. 5559(E).—Whereas M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited the applicant with its registered
address at B-9, Qutab Institutional Area, Katwaria Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, South West Delhi-110016, Delhi,
India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission
line under the Transmission Scheme “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy
zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its File No. 25-17/8/2024-PG, Dated 16.02.2024
had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the
transmission scheme "Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda
area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local
newspapers, The Time of India, Hitvada and Free Press (in English), Dainik Bhaskar, Nai Duniya and Rajasthan
Patrika (in Hindi), Divya Bhaskar (in Gujarati) and Lokmat (in Marathi) dated 07.05.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of
India dated 07.06.2025 for the public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within
two months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited has
submitted an affidavit dated 01.11.2025 declaring that four (04) observations/representations were received within two
months from the date of publication in the official Gazette of Government of India and the same have been answered
by M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited and that no further observations/ representations were received.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so
established or maintained for laying of electric lines for M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited. The
following overhead transmission lines are covered under this scheme:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)
II. LILO of Wardha – Raipur 765 kV one D/c line (out of 2xD/c lines) at Nagpur.
The above overhead transmission lines covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and
between the following villages, towns and cities of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra state:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)

S.O. 5559(E).—Whereas M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited the applicant with its registered
address at B-9, Qutab Institutional Area, Katwaria Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, South West Delhi-110016, Delhi,
India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission
line under the Transmission Scheme “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy
zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its File No. 25-17/8/2024-PG, Dated 16.02.2024
had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the
transmission scheme "Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda
area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local
newspapers, The Time of India, Hitvada and Free Press (in English), Dainik Bhaskar, Nai Duniya and Rajasthan
Patrika (in Hindi), Divya Bhaskar (in Gujarati) and Lokmat (in Marathi) dated 07.05.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of
India dated 07.06.2025 for the public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within
two months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited has
submitted an affidavit dated 01.11.2025 declaring that four (04) observations/representations were received within two
months from the date of publication in the official Gazette of Government of India and the same have been answered
by M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited and that no further observations/ representations were received.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so
established or maintained for laying of electric lines for M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited. The
following overhead transmission lines are covered under this scheme:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)
II. LILO of Wardha – Raipur 765 kV one D/c line (out of 2xD/c lines) at Nagpur.
The above overhead transmission lines covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and
between the following villages, towns and cities of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra state:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)

S.O. 5559(E).—Whereas M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited the applicant with its registered
address at B-9, Qutab Institutional Area, Katwaria Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, South West Delhi-110016, Delhi,
India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission
line under the Transmission Scheme “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy
zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its File No. 25-17/8/2024-PG, Dated 16.02.2024
had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the
transmission scheme "Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda
area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A”.
M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local
newspapers, The Time of India, Hitvada and Free Press (in English), Dainik Bhaskar, Nai Duniya and Rajasthan
Patrika (in Hindi), Divya Bhaskar (in Gujarati) and Lokmat (in Marathi) dated 07.05.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of
India dated 07.06.2025 for the public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within
two months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited has
submitted an affidavit dated 01.11.2025 declaring that four (04) observations/representations were received within two
months from the date of publication in the official Gazette of Government of India and the same have been answered
by M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited and that no further observations/ representations were received.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so
established or maintained for laying of electric lines for M/s Powergrid West Central Transmission Limited. The
following overhead transmission lines are covered under this scheme:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)
II. LILO of Wardha – Raipur 765 kV one D/c line (out of 2xD/c lines) at Nagpur.
The above overhead transmission lines covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and
between the following villages, towns and cities of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra state:
I. ±800 kV HVDC Bipole line (Hexa lapwing) between KPS2 (HVDC) and Nagpur (HVDC)
