NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th June, 2024
S.O. 2228(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Coal bearing Areas (Acquisition
and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby appoints the officers specified in column
(2) of the Schedule below to be the competent authorities for the purposes of the said Act and for the provisions of
sections in respect of the functions to be performed by the said competent authorities as specified in column (4) falling
within the jurisdiction of the NTPC Mining Limited, Regd. Office and Head Office NTPC Bhawan, Core-7, 7
Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi - 110003, India (A wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC) and site office as
specified in column (3) of the said Schedule.

4. The said competent authority specified in Column (2) of the Schedule above, shall exercise the powers and discharge the functions under the respective provisions of the Act for the purposes of the said Act and for the provisions of sections in respect of the functions to be performed by the said competent authorities as specified in column (4) falling within the jurisdiction of the NTPC Mining Limited, Regd. Office and Head Office NTPC Bhawan, Core-7, 7 Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi - 110003, India (A wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC) and site office as specified in column (3) of the said Schedule.
