NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th October, 2024
S.O. 4397(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number
S.O. 5082(E) dated the 29th November, 2023, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred as to the said Act), published in the Gazette
of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 29th November, 2023, the Central Government
gave notice of its intention to acquire 0.17 hectares (approximately) or 0.42 acres (approximately) land and all rights in
or over such land specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification;
And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the
Central Government;
And whereas the Central Government, after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the
Government of West Bengal, is satisfied that the land measuring 0.17 hectares (approximately) or 0.42 acres
(approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in Schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that all rights in or over the land measuring 0.17 hectare (approximately) or 0.42 acre
(approximately) as described in the schedule are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing no. GM/JNR/LAND/2024-25/CBA(Sec-9)/206, dated the 11th June, 2024, of the area covered
by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Collector, District Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal or in the
office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organization, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi
110092, or in the Office of the Director Technical (Project and Planning), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, Post
Office Dishergarh, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, Pin code – 713333.

Boundary Description:
The plot to be acquired lie within the polygon ABCDEFGA as mentioned in the Plan
No. GM/JNR/LAND/2024-25/CBA(Sec-9)/206 dated 11th June, 2024. The plot lies in mouza Chakbanbahal under
Andal Block. The aforesaid polygon is described below:-
Polygon- ABCDEFGA:
1) Line A-B:- The line starts from the point A on the common boundary of Plot nos. 354 and 355 of mouza
Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17, runs towards south-west up to the point B on the common boundary of Plot nos.
354 & 355 of mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17.
2) Line B-C:- The line starts from the point B, runs towards east up to the point C common point of Plot nos.354,
355 and 933 of the mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17.
3) Line C-D:- The line starts from the point C, runs towards south up to the point D on the common boundary of
Plot nos. 355 and 931 of the mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17.
4) Line D-E:- The line starts from the point D, runs towards east up to the point E on the common boundary of the
Plot nos.355 and 357 of the mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17.
5) Line E-F:- The line starts from the point E, runs towards north along the common boundary of Plot nos. 355
and 357 of the mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17 and ends on point F which is the common point of Plot nos.
335 and 357 of the mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17 and Plot no. 256 0f mouza- Shyamsundarpur, J.L.no. 16.
6) Line F-G:- The line starts from the point F, runs towards north up to the point G on the common boundary of
Plot no. 355 of the mouza- Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17 and Plot no. 232 of the mouza- Shyamsundarpur, J.L.
No. 16.
7) Line G-A:- The line starts from the point G, runs towards west up to the point A on the common boundary of
Plot nos. 354 and 355 of mouza Ckakbanbahal, J.L. no. 17.
