Appointment of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors

Tech (Electrical & Electronic | Electrical Inspector | | | | | | Engineering) | | +-----+--------------------------+--------------------+------------------+------------------------------------+--------------------------+ The above mentioned officers shall exercise the powers and perform their functions in respect of electrical works, electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the jurisdiction of CEA, as per the procedure provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time. It shall be ensured that above said officers do not function as the Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors in respect of any electrical work or installation, the execution or maintenance of which is their responsibility. The officers appointed as Chief Electrical Inspector/Electrical Inspectors shall undergo such training as the Central Government may consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
